As a freshly minted leader I am in charge of Color Strategy & Process for the Kid’s Category. I am currently identifying and meeting the needs of my team mates & partners to understand how the organization works, and have the ability to tie design initiatives
to business strategy.

JORDAN BRAND FOOTWEAR COLOR DESIGNER II

Responsible for Men's 23E Category. 

Take on the challege to create “New” for Jordan Brand. Help the team build a creative direction by overseeing color palette conception, & category color strategy

and story telling.

  • SPSU24 & FAHO24 Color Palette Creation Stretch for Nike & Jordan Brand

Joined and advised Nike’s Color Palette creation team for the season of SPS24 & co-authored Jordan Brand’s SPSU 2024 Color Palette and direction.

  • Jordan Brand WINGS Scholarship Committee Member 2021-22

  • Stretching into Men’s & Women’s Flight Categories and SP Team to cover team mates at key design gates. Personal highlights: Day of the Dead ‘22 & JBalvin AJ3 projects.

CONVERSE FOOTWEAR COLOR DESIGNER II

Responsible for Inline Global Women's Footwear Collection and Performance and Sport Style Basketball Inline Collection.

  • Participate and influence in the building of the Seasonal Color Direction and palette. Rapid iteration of multiple color blocking strategy and concepts that tell a consumer lead narrative.

  • Explore and create meaningful concepts to create a cohesive collection and product offering , targeting multiple price points and consumer groups.

  •  Share research and analysis of consumer types and behaviors, trend forecasting and market insights.

  • Work cross functionally with our triad partners to create design solutions and lead projects while managing multiple task and seasons at hand.

  • Develop an understanding of color technology and achievability of color effects through materials, dyes, and finishes. Plan and execute such effects through project timelines and calendar reviewing samples and troubleshooting issues with team.

CONVERSE DIVERSITY NETWORK

2019 - September

Committee leader for Latinx Heritage Month. Lead a team of CDN members to bring the events of the month come to life: a panel discussion highlighting Latinx leaders within Converse, a school supply drive in support of the KIND organization, a celebration event and a media campaign for our employee social media and Converse Connect. 

2019 - May

Committee member for APAHM. Helped organize a panel discussion where we invited community leaders of Asian American Heritage to talk about their experiences and work within the city of Boston. 

2018 - September

Committee member for Hispanic Heritage Month. Lead the organization of two art exhibitions and two panel discussions where we highlighted Latino Creatives from our internal employee community and the NYC community.

Responsible for Inline Global Kid's Inline Collection and transitioned into Men's Inline Collection.

CONVERSE ASSISTANT FOOTWEAR COLOR DESIGNER

Responsible for Inline Global Kid's Inline Collection and support the Inline Footwear Categories: Men's, Women's & Kids & Sport Lifestyle product.

REEBOK DESIGN APPRENTICE STUDIO APPAREL

As an apprentice my job was to assist the designers of the Studio ranges that include: Yoga, Cardio, Dance, and LesMills. I also was involved in special projects with the Training, Foundations & Classics Apparel teams. My favorite tasks were: 
• Assisted Color and Trend team with researching and presenting current fashion trends to the team providing insight into fashion needs for gym, studio and lifestyle.
• Created and maintained design boards, seasonal binders, and color overview boards
• Assisted with garment tear downs and fittings
• Created and updated design technical packs
• Worked cross-functionally with apparel, material development, and marketing teams to prepare for multiple seasons.
