THE CONSUMER TARGET
Inspired by the teen girl who's gearing up for her Summer and by the scene of LA, Coachella and Venice Beach. We wanted to convey this youthful energy by using Summer friendly brights and neons that work best for our Digital and North America (Journeys) consumer.
Scroll below to see all the fun veneering we got to do. We work in a team composed of footwear designers, material designers, color designers, factory developers and line managers. Together, we carve a narrative fit for our consumer target, the teen girl, and bring it to life in details like washes, rubber applications, novelty laces, two-color wovens, embroideries, suedes, and graphics. Seeing all this product across the Converse website and social media is exciting, since it represents months of work from initial design review to final line adoption.
